A land-first ski film. 

 

Reverence is a deep and demonstrated respect for the land and communities that sustain us. This is a story that feels both real and radical. Let’s consider the context of the ski film world, how can it be different? Together, Annie (environmentalist, athlete, educator) and Carly (videographer, athlete) will embark on an ambitious  project to change the dominant narrative and create: a land-first ski film. Annie will retrace her steps, returning to the communities where she forged her connection to the land and skiing. In these communities at the heart of the ski world, Annie will search for role models and leaders who move through the mountains with reverence… what results is an adventure that is part autobiography, part environmental documentary, part ski film.
